Greetings! I'm back from Chile, feeling energized from the experience, enjoying this beautiful week at home, and making plans for my next adventure.
I'd like to wrap up my winter fun list which I started on December 21 as posted here, with my update #1 in January, and update #2 in February. The last item Explore Chile in March on my winter fun list is now complete. Separate posts to come with highlights of my fantastic adventure in Chile.
Today I'm sharing my spring fun list and linking up with several fun-loving bloggers. I'm excited to be in spring season. I love the sunshine, the freshness in the air, and the increasingly warmer temperatures. In my neighbourhood, I see spring flowers growing and the trees start to look greener. When I walk outdoors in the morning, I hear bird songs and see ducks swimming leisurely in the lake. The sights of new beginnings are invigorating. Bring on spring!
My Spring Fun List from March 21 to June 20, 2018:
- View two art exhibitions.
- Attend eight music recitals.
- Watch ten movies.
- Review French fifteen minutes daily.
- Take a long weekend trip with my family.
- Meet up for coffee or lunch with my friends.
- Go to farmers' markets starting at the end of May.
- Explore the Baltics in May-June.
How are things going with you? What do you do for fun this season? If you've been to any of the capitals in the Baltics, please share your experience.
What an adventurous list, Natalie! It sounds delightful. I may add brush up on my French to one of my upcoming bucket lists. I hate that I haven't used it and completely let that skill slip. Good luck on your list! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Christie, for your comment. Language is definitely something that we "use it or lose it". Happy Spring to you, too!
DeleteA long weekend trip would be a lot of fun. I hope you get to go somewhere fun and/or relaxing. Good luck with all of these!

Thank you, Lauren, for visiting. Hope you get to enjoy everything on your spring bucket list and a fabulous birthday in May.
DeleteWe wanted to day trip to Talinn from Helsinki but didn't have enough time (Helsinki is just gorgeous by the way and Finns are fabulous people). I look forward to the photos of your trip. My friend went had her photos are like she's in a fairy tale.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lydia, for stopping by. I look forward to visiting Tallinn even more now that you mentioned your friend's fairy tale photos.
DeleteChile sounds amazing Natalie and is on our bucket list. We did a cruise of the Baltics a few years ago and just loved it so I'm looking forward to your post. Talinn was my favourite place and such a surprise as I didn't know much about it before visiting. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear you liked Tallinn, Sue. I'll start posting my photos from my trip to Chile this Sunday. Have a fabulous week!
DeleteI envy you visiting Estonia. My parents were both born there but I'm yet to travel there myself!

Wow, Ingrid, you've got to plan a visit to Estonia then. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteGreat list! I've just returned from a 6 week caravan trip in my own country, Australia. We're actually heading into Autumn and this is my favourite time of year as the temperatures and humidity starts to decline. #TeamLovinLife
ReplyDeleteYour 6-week caravan trip sounds amazing, Kathy. I look forward to reading your posts. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteWow Chile and next the Baltics! How exciting! Also envious of the number of musicals you plan on seeing. I absolutely LOVE going to musicals. :-) #TeamLovinLife
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to visiting the Baltics. We're in spring heading into summer here, Min, so it's the season to be more out and about. Thank you for dropping by.
DeleteWow, the Baltics! that sounds fabulous. We're heading into Autumn & the temps and humidity are finally starting to slowly decline. Love this time of year.
ReplyDeleteAgreed with you, Jo. Low humidity and less hot temps are much more pleasant. Your trip to France should be coming up soon. Look forward to reading about it.
DeleteYou are the globe-trottingest gal I know. How very exciting all of your adventures are. I drove home today from New Mexico and took a walk this afternoon, after thinking of the good example you and Tamara set for walking.
ReplyDeleteHope you will do some movie reviews on your blog, once you begin realizing that spring goal. I have a few spring releases in mind to watch, too. Hope this spring and summer will have a bounty of good movies.
Thank you for joining up!
Thanks, Leslie, for hosting the link-up, and stopping by. Bravos for resuming your walking! I enjoyed watching The Shape of Water last week. Tomorrow I plan to see Darkest Hour.
DeleteSome fascinating adventures on that list, Natalie. Looking forward to reading more about them soon.

Thanks, SSG, for your comment.
DeleteI love how you always have things to aspire to Natalie - I live pretty much week to week and having plans for the weekend is a big deal for me. I'll be interested to see how your Spring goes and welcome back from Chile - glad you're safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Leanne, for stopping by. It's a list of fun activities so I'm quite motivated to complete it. A list of chores, on the other hand, is a different story :)
DeleteHi, Natalie - Farmers' Markets are my favourites. Unfortunately, I know very little about the Baltics. I look forward to learning from your experiences in this area!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna - I look forward to learning more about the Baltics and will share my travel experiences afterwards.
DeleteAs we head in to Autumn....if the weather decides to play....I will be dreaming of beach getaways to warmer spots, as I hate the cold.
ReplyDeleteThank you, WW, for visiting. I hope your dreams of beach getaways come true.
DeleteHi Natalie - Your list looks good. I'm curious about your process for making the lists. Do you have year plans that you chunk into seasons - i.e. I want to watch 40 movies this year so that will be 10 movies per season. Or do experiences in one season, and the weather of course, influence your plans for the next season?
ReplyDeleteHi Karen - With the movies and music recitals, my goal this year is to see a new-to-me show once a week, except when I'm away or when the music program is unavailable. The farmers' markets are seasonal. The overseas travel, my goal is to visit a new destination in America, Europe, and Africa this year. Thank you for dropping by.
DeleteNatalie, unlike so many people (e.g., me), you don’t just think and dream about travelling— you actually plan it and then go and do it. Chile! The Baltics!
ReplyDeleteHi Jude - I think I'm an action-oriented person :) Thank you for dropping by.
DeleteI love that you phrase your goals / to-dos by making them sound fun. I'm the opposite. I'll often have a 'to-do' list and it'll include fun things (outings, dinners, catch-ups, trips) that make them sound like chores! #teamlovinlife
ReplyDeleteThis list is definitely fun for me as most of the actual work is done by someone else :) Thanks, Deborah, for stopping by.
DeleteYour spring travel plans sound amazing, Nathalie! It is fun and interesting to make lists of things you want to do and achieve, and then look back at them. I never really do this, because we never have any plans other than committed house sits.
ReplyDeleteSo, my spring will mostly be spent in New Mexico state, with hopefully a few camper van trips during the weekends, and lots of focus on my memoir, before it really warms up. :-)
Your spring plans sound good, too, Liesbet. The completion of your memoir is important so it makes sense to focus on it. Sprinkled in a few camper van trips and voila, the adventure continues :) Thank you for stopping by.
