Greetings! In this post, I'm sharing my photos of some cool street art that I've seen in Valparaiso, Chile. I'll let you be the judge and decide if you like any of them.

What do you think of Valparaiso street art? Would you like to have more street art in your town or city? I'd love to read your comments.
Very colorful! I love these murals.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Beth, for your comment. Have a great day!
DeleteOh, my goodness. Like a gallery of art all about town. Would love to know more about how these murals come to be. Do the owners of the buildings hire artists? Or paint the art themselves? Here in El Paso, that is a great deal of graffiti, some of it welcome and some not so much. These pieces are truly beautiful and must require a great deal of time to create. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt's a combo of hired artists and DIY art, Leslie. What I shared is just a fraction of the street art in Valparaiso. That city is a photographer's dream. Thank you for stopping by.
DeleteIt's so cool that towns decorate themselves like this. I'd love to see more of this and less of just boring old buildings
ReplyDeleteLots of paint used and colours in Valparaiso. Thanks, Vanessa, for stopping by.

DeleteI like all of them, Natalie. Street art is the perfect combination of people exercising their creativity and simultaneously beautifying a space. How great is that!
ReplyDeleteI like them all, too, Karen. Each is unique. Thank you for stopping by.
DeleteBeautiful. A walk along these murals would brighten up any day. Such different styles, yet are all so colorful. My favorite is the one with the sand dunes. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Liesbet, for stopping by. There was a walking tour that would pass by many of these murals (and up and down the hills) in Valparaiso. It was a visual treat.
DeleteI adore Street Art. What a gorgeous gallery. I especially love the piece showcased in the first three pictures. It looks like a Seth Globepainter, but I can not find the piece anywhere else on-line to confirm.
ReplyDeleteI was looking at those three murals for the artist's name, and didn't see it either. Thank you, Lisa, for stopping by. I'm thinking of you and the crew and your sailing adventure.
DeleteThese street arts are beautiful indeed!
